Our recent Impact Conference 2025 at the Kalahari Resort in Sandusky, OH, was a tremendous success! Under the powerful theme, Be Bold. Be Driven. Forge a Trail., we gathered to learn software, network with peers, and, most importantly, explore how to elevate our personal and organizational impact.
The theme was a call-to-action—embracing innovation with courage, pushing beyond the status quo with purpose, and creating meaningful change that others can follow. To inspire this movement, we were honored to host two truly dynamic and influential keynote speakers.
Kicking off our 3 days of immersive learning, networking, and CPE-eligible sessions was our opening keynote, Alain Hunkins. Alain is a best-selling author of Cracking the Leadership Code, a Forbes contributor, and a renowned leadership coach. With a 25+ year career serving clients like Microsoft, Pfizer, the NBA, and the FBI, Alain has a gift for translating complex concepts from psychology and neuroscience into simple, practical, actionable tools.
He gave an energizing keynote address titled: Cracking the Leadership Code: Be Bold, Be Driven, Forge a Trail.
Alain focused on leading smarter in a world of constant change. He revealed that the real difference between those who simply get by and those who inspire and create lasting impact is not about title or technical expertise. Instead, it centers on the ability to unlock three timeless, yet often-overlooked keys.:
Connection: Forging trust and credibility, even under pressure.
Communication: Communicating with clarity so people don’t just listen, they act.
Collaboration: Building teams that work seamlessly and deliver results that stick.
Alain distilled cutting-edge research and over two decades of experience working with top organizations into practical habits.
Our attendees immediately felt the practical value of his message:
"The opening speaker was great, he had a good message with some actionable items that were a good takeaway."
Alain set a strong foundation, encouraging every attendee to step into the conference ready to be bold and driven in their learning and leadership journey.
And closing out the conference was our inspiring keynote, Tyler Summitt.
As the son of the legendary Coach Pat Summitt and a co-founder of the Pat Summitt Leadership Group, Tyler inherited an intense passion for leadership and purpose. Tyler's own impressive background—graduating Summa Cum Laude, coaching success at Louisiana Tech, and his ongoing philanthropic work with the Pat Summitt Foundation—added immense depth to his message.
The heart of Tyler’s presentation focused on Pat Summitt's Definite Dozen, a set of principles that serve as a clear, powerful blueprint for success, both on the court and in our careers and relationships. These twelve principles are calls to action for anyone striving to make a positive impact:
Respect Yourself and Others
Take Full Responsibility
Develop and Demonstrate Loyalty
Learn to Be a Great Communicator
Discipline Yourself So No One Else Has To
Make Hard Work Your Passion
Don’t Just Work Hard, Work Smart
Put the Team Before Yourself
Make Winning an Attitude
Be a Competitor
Change Is a Must
Handle Success Like You Handle Failure
His powerful words resonated deeply, leaving our attendees feeling motivated and energized:
"Tyler Summitt was phenomenal, a very dynamic speaker."
"Tyler Summitt was a great addition. That inspired me to be better at not only work but in life in general."
The collective feedback on both keynotes proved just how essential they were to our mission:
"Both the opening and closing guest speakers were phenomenal! I loved getting back on the road with good vibes!"
The Impact Conference is designed to be more than just a software training event. We structured the 3 days to provide maximum value for our community:
Diverse Learning Formats: Attendees engaged in breakout sessions, panel discussions, roundtables, Learning Labs, and our innovative Corner the Expert session (a fun, interactive format covering hot topics like cybersecurity, public finance, payroll, utilities, and more).
Essential Topics: Training covered VIP Software Best Practices, Cybersecurity & Fraud Prevention, Legislative Updates, and essential skills like Leadership Techniques, Communication, and HR tools.
Networking & Fun: We mixed learning with celebration, hosting networking events on Wednesday and Thursday.
Making a Difference: We continued our annual tradition by hosting a raffle to raise funds for a local, worthy cause—this year supporting Shoes 4 the Shoeless.
Thank you to everyone who joined us for this inspirational and educational event. We hope you left feeling equipped, connected, and ready to forge a trail in your organization and community!
Mark your calendars for next year's Impact Conference on October 28-30th at the Hilton at Polaris in Columbus, OH.
