You’re invited to take the stage at 2026 SSI Impact Conference, our annual user conference where public sector professionals come to learn, network, brainstorm, and train.

This year’s conference takes place October 28–30, 2026, at the Hilton at Polaris in Columbus, Ohio, and we’re expecting 275+ public sector leaders and employees for 3 packed days of deep-dive product training, CPE-eligible sessions, panel discussions, leadership sessions, industry and legislative updates, and meaningful peer exchanges.

So if you’ve got a practical session idea, a story worth telling, or a workshop that gets people more productive, we want to hear from you.

Session Topics We’re Looking For

We’re building a well-rounded program that supports both day-to-day operations and forward-thinking leadership. Sessions can be panel discussions, workshops, lectures, or breakout sessions, typically 30, 45, 60, or 75 minutes long.

Relevant topics include (but aren’t limited to):

  • Leadership or organizational change

  • Innovation in finance, HR, or operations

  • Training, communication, and team development

  • Civic tech trends, AI, cybersecurity, and digital transformation

  • Personal growth, motivation, and management

  • Case studies, academic research, or lessons learned from real-world experiences

  • VIP Software tips, tricks, lessons, and experiences

  • Accounting, payroll, HR, budgeting, utility billing, accounts payable, and data analytics

  • Local government law and regulations

  • Strategic planning and municipality management

We’re especially interested in hands-on, interactive, or story-driven sessions that energize and equip.

Why Speak at SSI IMPACT?

Speaking at SSI IMPACT is an opportunity to share expertise with public sector professionals from across the region—and build some great connections along the way.

As a speaker, you have the opportunity to:

  • Get in front of hundreds of public sector professionals

  • Add a speaking engagement to your resume

  • Build your brand and expand your network

  • Conduct surveys and research to support future projects

  • Be promoted through SSI email, website, blog, and social channels

  • Share expertise that helps local communities grow

  • Host a mini-booth to showcase your company, book, offerings, or resources

Submission Guidelines

By submitting a session, you’re committing to a few important guidelines:

  • Submit your own entry

  • Limit of 3 submissions per person

  • Maximum of 4 speakers/panelists per session

  • Content must be educational, not a sales pitch (a quick reference is fine—a commercial is not)

And you’ll select the submission type that fits best:

  • Panel discussion

  • Workshop

  • Lecture or breakout session

Ready to Submit?

If you (or someone you know) has a session idea that’s practical, story-driven, or packed with real takeaways, we’d love to review it. We're accepting submissions until June 1.

Submit your proposal for the 2026 SSI IMPACT Conference here.
